Heritage Area Walking Tours Are August 23 and 30
Join us for one of our guided walking tours of the downtown Syracuse heritage area! The next tours are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 23 and Tuesday, August 30. Each walk follows the path of the original Erie Canal and lasts a little over an hour. We look at some of Syracuse’s oldest and most well-known structures and discuss canal buildings and bridges, the economic impact of the Erie and Oswego canals and the changing face of Clinton Square. Free for Museum members and children 18 and under; $5 for non-members. Tickets may be purchased at the door. If you are a member, please present your membership card upon arrival.
