Senator Gillibrand Paid a Visit to the Erie Canal Museum
On Friday, April 21, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, United States Senator from New York, visited the Erie Canal Museum for a tour of the Museum and to talk about the importance of the arts and cultural sites in our communities. Leaders from other Central New York cultural organizations were in attendance.
The Erie Canal Museum has received federal funding for projects like the first floor renovation, archival projects, and the Heartland Passage tour to occur later this year. Funding from federal sources allows us to appeal to our diverse audience in new and creative ways.
