Dr. David Stradling, “Making the Empire State”

Join Dr. David Stradling as he discusses the natural and cultural forces that combined to make New York City the nation’s premiere port and Upstate New York one of the world’s most dynamic regions in the mid-nineteenth century.  This event is hybrid, so you can choose to join us in-person at the Museum or virtually via Zoom. Registration for this event is FREE for Museum Members and $5 for the general public.
