Tuesdays on the Towpath Bike Ride

June 26, 2018 @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Free
Interpreted Bicycle Ride

Join staff of the Erie Canal Museum for Tuesdays on the Towpath, a free, recreational bike ride along the route of the Erie Canal in Syracuse, New York. Learn about the 19th century Canal’s presence in and impact on the city of Syracuse, and explore some of the city’s many historic and contemporary Canal systems, including the Onondaga Creekwalk, the Inner Harbor that was once part of the Barge Canal system, and Onondaga Lake. Meet at the Erie Canal Museum, 318 Erie Boulevard East, Syracuse. Please bring your helmet as it is required. The event is free and open to the public and is one of a series of Tuesday rides planned in partnership with the Old Erie Canal Community Working Group. Free parking is in the lot across the street under routes 81 and 690.

Check our Facebook page and Twitter feed beginning in late April for a complete schedule of Tuesdays on the Towpath rides. We hope you’ll join us on Tuesday, June 26!
