You are cordially invited to the Erie Canal Museum for a free curator talk about glassmaking on the Erie Canal. The program is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12 in the second floor gallery of the Museum, located at 318 Erie Boulevard East, Syracuse, New York. Curator Ashley Maready will discuss the history of this craft, the Erie Canal’s role in the industry, and glassmakers who operated along the waterway. This is the fourth in a series of free curator talks offered by the Museum. It is open to the public and will include time for questions. Free parking is available in Museum-designated spots in the lot across the street under routes 81 and 690.
